OSHA - 10 Hour Construction Outreach Training w/ Study Guide

Course Description

This package includes 10 hours of training required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act that applies toward the 10-hour Construction Industry course completion card. The module consists of 11 sections that cover topics of the regulations covered by the Standard 29 CFR 1926. When the course is completed successfully, it will help the participants to meet the OSHA Construction Industry standards.

The Outreach Training Program courses have been recommended by OSHA as an orientation to occupational health and safety for workers in the construction industry. Workers must receive an additional training on the specific hazards of their job when required by the OSHA standards.

Testing

After each lesson, participants will be given a short quiz to test their knowledge of the material presented in every module.

These lesson quizzes are designed to help participants prepare for the 10 question module quizzes and for the final exam. Participants will be able to view each assessment result, which answers wrong/right, and feedback as to why the right answer is the most correct.

To move forward in the course, participants must score at least 70% on each module quiz. They will be given 3 opportunities to clear each module quiz. If they fail to pass the quiz, they will be locked out of the course and will not be allowed to continue with an online training format for their outreach training. Once the participants have completed all the module quizzes, they must clear the final examination to receive full credit for the course. The exam consists of 20 questions and it will test their knowledge on information covered throughout the training course. All participants must receive a score of 70% to clear the course.

Participants are given three tries top clear the exam and if they don’t pass they will be locked out of this course and they will be no longer allowed to take the outreach training in an online format.

Course Information

NOTE: Remember that OSHA REQUIRES THE OUTREACH COURSE AND THE END OF COURSE SURVEY BOTH TO BE COMPLETED WITHIN SIX (6) MONTHS OF BEGINNING THE COURSE OR A DOL CARD WILL NOT BE ISSUED!

Once the course and the accompanying survey are completed, a completed card from the provider of this course will be issued to the participant on behalf of the Department of Labor. The completion card normally takes 4-8 weeks to process and ship.

PARTICIPANTS MUST COMPLETE THE SURVEY AT THE END OF THIS TRAINING TO RECEIVE THEIR DOL CARD.
