Introduction
Working in the concrete and masonry line of business is definitely not for the faint hearted. It is an occupation that is solely meant for the skilled and experienced workers who have undergone rigorous training sessions. Working on various forms and tilt up slabs can be extremely dangerous. Being one of the most widely used construction material in the world, there are safety issues that crop up at every stage of concrete production. The safety and health of workers in the concrete and masonry field has largely been a topic of concern for years now.
The OSHA 29 CFR 1926.7 Subpart Q was created to improve the safety and health of the workers and to reduce the number of accident cases.
