Introduction
Handling and storing materials involves a number of different operations from hoisting tons of steel with cranes and driving trucks loaded with concrete blocks to manually carrying materials and stacking drums, lumber or loose bricks.
Materials handling is essential to the construction business. These operations ensure that there is a constant flow of raw materials through the workplace, and that materials are available at any given time. However, the improper handling of materials can cause very costly injuries. Workers can be injured by falling objects or improperly stacked materials. This course has been designed to specifically ensure that workers are aware of the potential injuries involved in materials handling.

Testing
Testing
Initial Tests or Quizzes must be passed with a 100% ranking in order for the applicant to proceed to the next lesson.
The final Examination must be passed with a minimum of 70% in order to clear the course. If necessary, the final examination can be taken 3 times.
