Introduction
Bloodborne pathogens are the pathogenic micro-organisms present in human blood and they transmit diseases in humans. Most people’s occupation and workplace bring them in contact with many people suffering from certain diseases, thus causing them to be exposed to these pathogens. In order to reduce or limit employees exposure to blood and other infectious materials, the OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR Part 1910.1030) was established.
Course Description
This course is designed to provide the basic understanding of bloodborne pathogens, the common modes of their transmissions, prevention methods and other relevant information. The participants will be also walked through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Bloodborne Pathogen Standard and their requirements.

The module quizzes must be passed with a score of 100% to proceed forward to the next session.
A score of 70% is required in the final exam. The trainees will be given three chances to appear for the final exam if it is required.
