Introduction



Most employers and employees in the United States, U.S. Territories and District of Columbia are covered by the OSH Act or Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. The Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration or OSHA handles the administration and enforcement of the Act. The course will provide participants with the introduction to OSHA regulations.

Course Description



Participants will get an overview about the OSH Act, OSHA and its role in elimination and prevention of work related injuries and illness from this course. The course also covers information regarding employer and employee rights and responsibilities and an outline of the inspection process, reporting and record-keeping. This course has been designed to help and benefit those who are directly or indirectly associated with OSH Act or OSHA.

For the module quizzes, participants must clear with a 100% score to proceed forward to the next session.

In the final exam, the participants require a 70% score to clear the course. The final exam can be taken three times if required.
