Introduction



Handling and storing of materials is a common component of various jobs in the general industry, however, improper material storage and handling can result in an adverse effect on the safety and health of the workers. Workers should follow specific procedures aimed at protecting themselves and managing hazards.

Course Description



This course is applicable to all people handling and storing materials as part of their job. The material handling and storage procedures, which are developed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is specified. The course aims to reduce work related injuries associated with improper handling or storage of materials.

Testing


The module quizzes must be passed with a score of 100% to proceed forward to the next session.

A score of 70% is required in the final exam. The trainees will be given three chances to appear for the final exam if it is required.
