Ever since the Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded early this year, thousands and thousands of barrels of oil have been spilling into the seas along the Gulf of Mexico. The BP Oil Spill disaster is definitely a cause for alarm, what with it threatening the environment, wildlife and the economy.

At first, there was a tremendous surge of workers and volunteers who came to give a helping hand in the clean up efforts. These truly passionate individuals came in droves from all parts of the world to help at the disaster site. However, what first started off as a nationwide and even global effort to help straighten out the mess has now dwindled to a trifling amount. The only way to lessen the damage that has been meted out to the environment as well as to mankind is by first stopping the leak. For this, there needs to be many more HAZWOPER trained oil spill workers. Come help out and SAVE THE WORLD from what could be the worst environmental disaster.
